¡¡The
mound is the part up the ground .Beneath the burial mound is the interregna
palace where the coffin of Qin Shihuang was placed .
¡¡¡¡The surface construction of Qin tomb ,as is illustrated in Biography
of Liu Xiang, Historian of Han Dynasty ,is as high as a mount which
is 116m in height and 2.5km in circumference.
¡¡¡¡Because of 2000 years erosion by wind and rain, the tomb is just
86m in height The base of the mausoleum measures 345m wide from east
to west and 350m long from north to south with a circumference of
1390m,surmounted by a mound of rammed earth sha0ped like a truncated
pyramid the Mausoleum, and hundreds of slone-paved steps leading up
to the lop of the tomb
